With more than 10 new restaurants joining our lineup of neighborhood eateries this year, pulling up a chair to a complimentary kids’ meal has never been more rewarding.

Culinary Adventures: Kids Eat Free is a summer dining promotion from Irvine Company Retail Properties, running May 31 through August 27, 2026, that offers one free kids’ meal with the purchase of a qualifying adult entrée at participating restaurants across Orange County.
The program is built around family discovery, encouraging parents to explore diverse cuisines together at restaurants located inside Irvine Company retail centers. All offers are accessed digitally through the free Retail Therapy app or website, and are valid Sunday through Thursday throughout the program window.
2. How old must my child be to qualify for the Kids Eat Free offer?
For most participating restaurants, a child must be 12 years of age or younger to qualify for the free kids’ meal and must order from the designated kids’ menu.
However, age limits can vary by establishment. For example, Bloomingdale’s 59th & Lex Cafe, Veggie Grill by Next Level, and Wood Ranch BBQ & Grill require children to be 10 and under.
Please check individual restaurant offer details and confirm with your server at the time of ordering.
3. What days of the week can I use Kids Eat Free offers?
For most participating restaurants, Kids Eat Free offers are valid Sunday through Thursday ONLY.
However, participating days can vary by establishment. For example, EverSpring Modern Chinese‘s Kids Eat Free offer is valid Monday through Friday ONLY.
Kids Eat Free offers at Luna Grill and Mariposa Restaurant at Neiman Marcus are only valid Monday through Thursday ONLY.
Please check individual restaurant offer details and confirm with your server at the time of ordering.

Culinary Adventures Where Kids Eat Free includes a wide variety of family-friendly restaurants in Orange County, ranging from casual dining and fast casual restaurants to sit-down family dining experiences.
Participating cuisines include American, Asian, Cuban, French, Italian & Pizza, Mediterranean, Mexican, Plant-Focused, Seafood, and more.
6. Are healthy, gluten-free, or vegetarian kids’ meal options available?
Yes, several participating restaurants are well-known for offering fresh, plant-focused, vegetarian, or gluten-conscious kids’ meals, including Sweetgreen, True Food Kitchen, Tender Greens, Veggie Grill by Next Level, and Luna Grill. Most other participating restaurants will also substitute fruit or steamed vegetables in place of fries upon request.
7. Can adults buy two (2) meals and get two (2) free kids’ meals?
Potentially! The Culinary Adventures Where Kids Eat Free offer is limited to one (1) free kids’ meal per adult entree purchase. Please check with the restaurant directly prior to ordering to confirm limitations and ensure your meal selections are eligible. Oftentimes, lunch specials and other promotions may not be eligible.
8. Can I combine the Culinary Adventures Where Kids Eat Free offers with other Retail Therapy or restaurant offers?
No. Culinary Adventures Where Kids Eat Free offers cannot be combined with any other discounts, promotions, or offers, including but not limited to happy hour pricing, lunch specials, other Retail Therapy deals, or restaurant-specific specials.
9. Can I use the Culinary Adventures Where Kids Eat Free offer for takeout, delivery, or to-go orders?
No. Culinary Adventures Where Kids Eat Free offers cannot be combined with any other discounts, promotions, or offers, including but not limited to happy hour pricing, lunch specials, other Retail Therapy deals, or restaurant-specific specials.
10. How do I redeem the Culinary Adventures Where Kids Eat Free offer at the restaurant?
To redeem the Culinary Adventures Where Kids Eat Free offers, simply visit KidsEatFreeOC.com, find the restaurant at which you’d like to dine at from the list of participating restaurants, and tap the “Get Offer” button. This will open the offer within the Retail Therapy website or mobile app. From there, show the digital offer to your server or cashier at the restaurant before you place your order to ensure eligibility. Once eligibility is confirmed, tap the “Redeem” button.
11. Do I need to create a Retail Therapy account to redeem Culinary Adventures Where Kids Eat Free offers?
Most Culinary Adventures Where Kids Eat Free offers can be redeemed without creating a Retail Therapy account.
However, some restaurants — Corner Bakery and Mariposa Restaurant at Neiman Marcus — are considered “premium” offers, which do require you to create a Retail Therapy account to redeem.
Creating a Retail Therapy account is encouraged, though! Creating your account is FREE and unlocks additional features, including even more exclusive offers, saved favorite retailers and restaurants, and a personalized dashboard for tracking redeemed offers. 13. What is Retail Therapy?
Retail Therapy is the FREE mobile app and website (RetailTherapyApp.com) from Irvine Company Retail Properties that hosts the Culinary Adventures Where Kids Eat Free offers along with hundreds of other local deals on dining, shopping, services, and activities across select Orange County shopping centers including Irvine Spectrum Center, Fashion Island, and The Market Place.
